What's included

Every pack, same deal

Every pack — Free, Starter, Growth, and Scale — includes the same thing.

One schema, 13+ platforms

TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, LinkedIn, Reddit, and more — every route returns the same `{ data, meta }` shape. When a platform changes upstream, we absorb it. Your parsing code doesn't move.

Spend on your schedule

No required subscription — pay-as-you-go credits cost the same per lookup whether it's a quiet week or a launch-day spike. Optional monthly plans exist if you'd rather have a predictable bill.

Billing you can reconcile

Every response carries `meta.creditsCharged` and `meta.requestId`, so your ledger and our support desk always agree on what ran.

A named company, not a black box

Billing

Three things to know

How credits debit, when you're not charged, and how pay-as-you-go and optional plans compare.

  1. Try before you pay

100 free credits on signup, no card. Same endpoints and response shape as production.

  2. You are never charged for our mistakes

Validation errors and infrastructure failures (`lookup_failed`, `503 temporarily_unavailable`) do not debit your balance.

  3. No surprise bills

Pay-as-you-go stays prepaid — no post-hoc usage invoices. Auto top-up and subscription auto-refill are on by default after purchase, capped, and can be switched off anytime.

FAQ

Pricing FAQ

Credits, billing boundaries, and top-ups.

What charges credits?

Completed lookups on metered routes. Most cost 1 credit; a few document higher costs in the API reference (e.g. Twitter search at 2 credits). A successful response with `lookupStatus: not_found` — wrong handle, deleted post, private content surfaced as missing — still ran upstream and charges. Check `meta.creditsCharged` on every response; that is your source of truth. `GET /v1/whoami` and `GET /v1/balance` are free.

When am I never charged?

Pre-send validation errors (malformed URL, missing required param, invalid auth) — caught before upstream work. Infrastructure failures on metered routes: `lookup_failed` and `503 temporarily_unavailable` — retry without burning credits. We do not use vague “you only pay for data you get” language; a completed not_found lookup is billed because the lookup completed.

Why does not_found still cost credits?

Because we ran the lookup. A typo’d username, a deleted TikTok, a Reddit thread removed by moderators — we still hit upstream, parsed the response, and returned a structured `not_found` in the envelope. That is different from `lookup_failed`, where upstream did not produce a definitive answer and we do not charge. If you need to pre-validate handles, cache known-good IDs in your own database.

Do I have to subscribe?

No. Pay-as-you-go credit packs are one-time purchases with no required recurring plan. Optional monthly or annual subscriptions (Starter, Growth, Scale) include credits each period if you prefer predictable spend — cancel anytime from billing.

Do credits expire?

Pay-as-you-go pack credits never expire — buy today, spend next year. Subscription included credits reset at the end of each monthly period and do not roll over; unused included credits expire when the period closes. Your pay-as-you-go balance is always preserved separately.

What happens when included credits run out?

Active subscribers with auto-refill on (the default) keep making API calls without interruption. Usage draws from your pay-as-you-go balance first, then auto-purchases a prepaid tier refill pack — Starter 5,000 credits, Growth 10,000, Scale 15,000 (priced in USD, GBP, or EUR at checkout). Refill credits land in your PAYG balance and do not expire. Turn auto-refill off in billing if you prefer a hard stop at zero.

How do subscription refill packs work?

Each plan includes a monthly credit allowance (Starter 15k, Growth 50k, Scale 120k). When included credits are spent, auto-refill charges your saved card for your tier's refill pack — prepaid credits, not metered usage. Starter: 5,000 credits from $10. Growth: 10,000 from $18. Scale: 15,000 from $24.70. Optional per-period spend cap in billing; if a charge fails, a one-time grace buffer keeps requests running until you update payment.

Do unused subscription credits roll over?

No. Included credits reset at the start of each monthly period. Unused included credits do not carry forward. Pay-as-you-go credits in your separate balance are unaffected and never expire.

How do I cancel a subscription?

From billing in your dashboard: cancel at period end with one confirmation — you keep included credits until the period closes, then revert to pay-as-you-go only. Your pay-as-you-go balance is never forfeited. Manage payment methods and invoices via the Stripe billing portal.

Which platforms are supported?

TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, X (Twitter), Threads, Reddit, Rumble, Telegram, Spotify, GitHub, and web extraction routes — 13+ platforms through one API key and one response schema. Every credit pack includes every platform; there is no per-platform upsell.

Are there rate limits?

No enforced RPS cap or monthly request quota on paid metered `/v1/*` routes — your limit is credit balance. Run parallel batch jobs as your pipeline needs. We recommend staying below ~500 concurrent requests for best reliability; that is guidance, not a hard throttle. Free routes (`/v1/whoami`, `/v1/balance`) have per-key rate limits and may return `429`.

What happens when I run out?

Non-subscribers: metered routes return HTTP `402 insufficient_credits` when pay-as-you-go balance is empty — top up or keep auto top-up on (enabled by default after your first pack purchase). Active subscribers: included credits deplete first, then PAYG, then prepaid refill packs when auto-refill is on. With auto-refill off, or when grace buffer is exhausted after a failed refill charge, you get `402`. No silent debt on prepaid packs.

How does auto top-up work?

For pay-as-you-go users: auto top-up is on by default after your first credit pack purchase — we charge the same pack size when your balance drops below your threshold (100 credits by default). For subscribers: auto-refill is on by default at subscribe checkout — when spendable balance falls low, we charge your tier's prepaid refill pack off-session. Toggle auto-refill or set an optional per-period spend cap anytime in billing.
